Spirit Idol

Applications for the 2008 Spirit Idol Contest are now being accepted.

Grab a microphone and start practicing now for the Sixth Annual SPIRIT IDOL Competition! Competition is divided into three age divisions: 6 to 12 years of age, 13 to 17 years of age, and 18 years of age and up consisting of singers (solo or group) and dancers (solo or group).

Track’s and single instrument accompaniment only are allowed and there will be a time limit of 2 minutes 30 seconds per entry. All will be accepted with the understanding that they will all compete against each other.

Age division competitions will be July 3rd from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the Spirit of America Stage with the Grand Prize Finals taking place that same evening during the Miss Teen Point Mallard Pageant.

Grand prize winner takes home $300 cash!!

1^st Runner-Up receives $150 cash

2^nd Runner-Up receives $100 cash

Age Division Winners will receive $150 cash

Applications may be picked up at the Point Mallard Admin Office located inside the Ice Complex; at the Old State Bank; and online here; or by calling the numbers below.

A 4x6 photo is required along with the application - photos will not be returned - photo may be black/white or color.
