“I Pledge Allegiance” will provide a stirring theme for the 2011 fireworks display at the Spirit of America Festival.  Color, light and music will combine as the night sky is illuminated in a dazzling display of fireworks reflected over the waters of the Tennessee River!  The Spirit of America Festival proudly offers one of the largest free fireworks exhibitions in the region. The fireworks display will be accompanied by a musical soundtrack that will make bring out the patriot in all of us, making you smile and perhaps bringing  a tear to your eye as the Spirit of America celebrates our pride in America, our love for the State of Alabama, and this special place we call home-Decatur!

The fireworks display begins at 10:00, and a live simulcast will be offered by our media partner, Clear Channel Communications.
